FIRST GENERATION

1. William Guest was born on March 24, 1775 in Wilkes Co, NC. He was Living in Humphreys Co, Tn in 1820. He was bought land in Lafayette Co, Ms. in 1839 He died in 1859 in Lafayette Co, Miss.. He was a son of Moses Gust and Mary Blair who died in Franklin Co, Ga.

He was married to Elizabeth Barton (daughter of John Barton and Patty
Harden) on December 24, 1795 in Surry Co, NC. Elizabeth Barton was born in 1778 in Pendelton Dist, S.C.. She died after 1850 in Lafayette Co, Miss.. William Guest and Elizabeth Barton had the following children:
