Agreement between M. McEachin, C. L. Taylor, B. F. Houston, A. M. Graham.

Names in body of deed--Charles L. Taylor, Malcom McEachin, Archibald M. Graham, Benj. F. Houston.

That whereas we own lots of land adjoining in village of Abbeville on the east side of the MS Central Railroad, and whereas the lines of said lots now run east and west and from the depot lot and whereas the depot lot line runs north and south at an angle of about 9 degrees west and whereas we have built houses and desire to build other houses on a parallel line with said railroad and in doing so we, and each of us, would lose a strip of land as the lines now run. Therefore we have mutually agreed to make an even exchange of land as the plat on the back of this instrument of writing explains all of said lots being a fraction of the southwest 1/4 of section 3 township 7 range 3 west.

Commencing on the east boundary line of the depot, 200 feet east of the center of the railroad track and 176 feet south of the quarter section line and running back east about nine degrees south with the north wall of M. McEachin's Brick Store and beyond east of the north east corner of said store 37 feet to a stake, then south about 9 degrees west 60 feet to a stake, then west to the depot lot line, then northward with said line to the commencement point being a part of Lots No 16, 17, 18 according to the plat of the village as made out by S. T. King, county surveyor in the year 1873.
