Click thumbprint for better view.

John Henry Crocker the only remaining living son of Miles Crocker, Paris, MS. Bond and Administar Oath. John Henry stated his father was deceased , having died February 12, 1895 without a Will and He John swears he will pay Miles debts and goods and make a true and perfect inventory of said goods, chattels and ____ ... so help me, God. There were no Death certificates before 1909 in most states therefore a Bond such as this or a Will was the only offical record of death except perhaps a record in the Family Bible or a inscription on a tombstone if one was inscripted.
