"Located in the Dallas Community, Section #21, Township #10 South, Range #1 West. GPS Coordinates: 341157N 891812W

Leaving Oxford on Highway 6 East, take Highway 334 for 12 miles, then turn right on 331 through Tula Community; pass New Elbethel Church and take first dirt road to the left [CR 442 E] for approximately 4 miles. Cemetery located on the left."

If you do visit this remote cemetery, be sure to tell someone where you are heading and the route you plan to take, also, carry plenty of drinking water and a cell phone in case of an emergency. It is a very remote area, houses are hidden deep among the trees.

"This cemetery is in VERY BAD condition. Many of the stones are almost unreadable, or are unreadable, I have notes from 1978, and matched what I could. I am also adding what I can."

"There was a Old white oak tree in the middle that has now fallen across some graves and some of the stones are broken under it." Patricia visited with a very old citizen of the Dallas Community who told her the following story:"That Old White Oak was the hanging tree for the area, he said, he remembered when he was very young going in an oxen drawn wagon, and they would hang people from that tree, then drag the bodies off to the side of the cemetery to bury them." Patricia state there must be a number of unmarked graves along the side of the cemetery due to these hangings. The White Oak has been removed and it is kept clean now, I was out there last summer.
