James R. Bowles, the oldest son of G. B. Bowles, remained in Lafayette County.
The oldest daughter Mary Ann and her husband Dr. Paul H. Otey moved to Phillips County, Arkansas, about 1851.
Timoxena and her husband D. C. Herndon were living in Boliver County, Mississippi, in 1860.
Catharine and her husband W. D. Holder were living in Pontotoc County, Mississippi in 1860.
