I, George Ann Knight, who being of sound mind this the 29th day of December 1920 do will and bequeath to my three daughters, Anna, Gracie and Lessie, as follows:
Three forties of land. The west half of SE ¼ and SE ¼ of NE ¼ Section 23, Township 10, Range 13 120 acres to be distributes as follows –
I will and bequeath to Gracie the 40 acres of land on which the house stands, also all that I have in the house such as quilts, beds and other furniture and fixtures including all the kitchen utensils and everything pertaining to household goods.
I will and bequeath to my two daughters, Anna and Lessie, 40 acres of land each of the 80 acres of land that remains to be decided and agreed upon by them as to who shall have the North 40 acres and who shall have the South 40 acres –
I further will and bequeath (since I gave my son, Howard in years past, when he reached his majority namely 21 years of age and married, his 40 acres of land, therefore he has already received his land inheritance of my (?) and he shall not come into dispossess or inherit with my daughters any part of what remains of my land, but I will and bequeath to him the following – my gun, my first looking glass, my old “log cabin” quilt and a skirt I had when he was a baby.
I appoint Anna Knight my oldest daughter as executor of this my last will and testament without bond –
I, George Ann Knight, do hereby declare and publish this to be my last and only will and testament and do hereby affix my seal. –
This the 29th day of December 1920

This day personally appeared before me, the undersigned Thad S. Tate and M.J. Tate of Birmingham, Alabama Subscribing witnesses to a certain instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of George Ann Knight deceased late of Jasper County, in said state and said witnesses having been by me, first duly sworn on oath says that the said George Ann Knight on the 29th day of December 1920 this day of date of said instrument at Stringer, Miss. in Jasper County, freely and without any restraint or under influence known to them, signed, published and doctored said instrument to be her last will and testament in the presence of said subscribing witnesses, that the said testatrix was then of sound mind and disposing mind and more than twenty-one years of age: that they the deponents then and there at the special instance and request and in the presence of the said testatrix and in the presence of each other Subscribed and attested said instrument as witnesses to the signature and publication thereof that said testatrix at the time of Said attestation by Said deponents, was mentally capable of recognizing and actually conscious of Said act of attestation; and that they the Said subscribing witnesses were at the time of Said attestation, competent witnesses under the laws of the State of Mississippi.
