Governor's Mansion---Located
on Capital Street in Jackson.
Mississippi was the first
to build a home for it's chief executive.
Mississippi completed
the stately structure in 1842. The front
entrance is a replica
of the east entrance of the White House.

The Zoo---This is located in West Jackson in Livingston Park. Original area purchased in 1916 was 79 acres. Later increased to 145.88 acres. named in honor of Samuel Livingston, former owner. the R.M.
