Raymond

Mrs. Hilda Mae Milstead, 86, died Monday, September 4, 2006 at St., Dominic's Hospital. Graveside services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2006 in the Raymond Cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m. at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Raymond.

A native and lifelong resident of Hinds County, Mrs. Milstead formerly lived in Jackson and moved to Raymond several years ago.  Her first job was elevator operator at McRae's Department Store in downtown Jackson. She and her late husband enjoyed traveling the county on motorcycle. She enjoyed fishing and visiting with family. She was always full of love and laughter and she was independent.

She was preceded In death by her husband of 52 years George W. Milstead, her brothers, Robert Harris and 0. R. Harris and her sister Nell Armstrong.

Survivors include her sister Dorothy H. Bozeman of Raymond: Her brother Kendall Harris of Raymond: 9 nephews, 6 nieces and several grand nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Animal Rescue League in Jackson or to Cara in Clinton.
