Obituary
Fitzhugh Lee Frantz.
Jackson, Miss., December 31. – Fitzhugh Lee Frantz died at the residence of his brother, E. E. Frantz, city editor of the Clarion Ledger, this afternoon at 6 o’clock. He has been confined to his bed from typhoid fever for five weeks. He was 22 years of age and was the second living son of the late A. J. Frantz, for more than a quarter of a century the editor of the Brandon Republican, for many years the leading paper of Mississippi. He was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. He was a bright young man and all his habits were exemplary. He had the happy faculty of making warm friends of all with whom he came in contact.
