Diane W. Chance

Diane W. Chance, 70, of Jackson, died December 7, 2003 at Select Speciality Hospital in Jackson. Memorial services will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2003 from Baldwin-Lee Funeral Chapel in Jackson. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Baldwin-Lee.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Chance had lived in Jackson for the past 44 years and was a member of Alta Woods Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Ohio State University where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She was associated with the American Red Cross for a number of years and it was with the Red Cross in Portsmouth, Va. where she met and married her husband of 45 years, Mr. Jack Chance. She later became a deputy clerk for the Hinds County Chancery Clerk's Office where she worked for 23 years. Some of her favorite things were spending time with her family and friends, cross stitching and her cat, K.C.

Mrs. Chance is survived by her husband, Jack Chance of Jackson; daughters, Tammy Eason and husband, Wayne of Meridian and Faith Maxwell and husband, William of Franklin, Tenn.; sister, Faith Killius and husband, Richard of McCormick, S.C. and six grandchildren.
