James K (or R). McInstosh – 25 Nov 1845 – 19 Sep 1857.
Born in Hardeman County, Tennessee, the son of Dr. William and Elizabeth McIntosh.

Dr. William McIntosh – 24 Jul 1804 – 27 Aug 1853.
Born in North Carolina, he married his wife, Elizabeth (1813, NC), about 1834 most likely in Tennessee.  He is listed in the 1840 Hardeman County, Tennessee Census (p. 282).  He is listed in the 1850 DeSoto Census (p. 370) with the following children:  Ann Helen, 14, TN; Benjamin F. (1840, TN – 1906 DeSoto); Leonidas (see above); James (see above).  Son, Benjamin F., was a Confederate soldier.  According to his widow, he served in Marmaduke’s Cavalry Division, Company A (believed to be the B. F. McIntosh in Co. A, 1st Arkansas Cavalry).

E. J. Newberry – 14 Mar 1813 – 11 Jun 1869.  Consort of J. F. Newberry.
Born in North Carolina, Elizabeth J. (also listed as Ann) married (first) William McIntosh (see above) and was the mother of four children by him.  She married (second) J. F. Newberry (1827, SC) on June 23, 1854 in DeSoto County.  They apparently had no children.  They are listed in the 1860 DeSoto Census (pp. 127 & 128).  He is not listed in the 1870 Census.

Nancy Williams – 2 May 1788 – 27 Aug 1857.

Husband of Nancy “Ann” Williams (see above).

Born in North Carolina, the daughter of Thomas and Nancy Williams (see above).  She married Doddridge Trader on December 22, 1846 in DeSoto.  It appears he died prior to 1850 as he is not listed with her in the 1850 Census (p. 428) where she is living with her mother.  She apparently had no children.

Elizabeth Chapman – 26 Oct 1756 – 3 Aug 1845.
