                                                                                                            Thomas Holliday, Sheriff

June 6, 1840

Published in the June 13, 1840  Southern Star in Copiah County, MS.

Transcriber’s note:  John Wesley Ainsworth was the brother of Jane Ester Ainsworth.  Jane was married to Needham M. Patrick.  Apparently Needham Patrick cosigned a note for his brother in law John W. Ainsworth, and when John Ainsworth couldn’t pay, Patrick’s land was put up for sale to cover the cost.
