                                Administrator’s Sale

 

Agreeably to an order from the Honorable Probate Court of Copiah County granted at its April term of 1840; I will sell at public sale to the highest bidder at the courthouse door of said county on Monday the 6th day of July next on a credit of 12 months the following designated parcels of land belong to the estate of James Gilliland, deceased, viz: The West half of the northwest quarter of Section 5, Township 2, Range 4 West containing 79 28/100 acres, East half of southeast quarter of Section 31, Township 3, Range 4 West containing 79 36/100 acres, and a small fraction being a part of the East half of the southeast quarter of Section 6, Township 3, Range 4 West commencing at the northeast corner of the said quarter of a section, thence running West eight chains to a stake; then South forty-eight degrees East eleven chains and ninety-three links; thence South to the beginning; containing two and 93/100 of an acres; in all about 163 acres.
