The cemetery is surrounded by an iron fence and may be recognized from the road by the mass of tall shrubs and small
trees which completely fill it, thus making it stand out in the otherwise clean, grazed pasture.Note: Graves are all marked by fine marble head stones, about half of which have fallen from
their bases and lie flat on the ground, with faces up. The much repeated story that there is a hugh rattlesnake in this cemetery tends to discourage vandalism.
