Following is a picture of William Joshua Rea b Nov 1837 in Copiah Co and died 8 Feb 1906 in Copiah.  He was the son of George Rea and Sarah Simpson.  W.J. Rea was married to Laura Melissa Granberry. during the Civil War he was in Co D of the 12th Mississippi Regiment organized by Captain Merry Harris.  By the close of the war he was Captain of the regiment. The 1900 census finds William Joshua Rea and his family living in Martinsville, Ms and he is a merchant.  Their children are:

Following is a picture of Laura Melissa Granberry b 12 Aug 1849 in Copiah Co.  She was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Granberry and Amelia A. Rembert.  She was married to Captain William Joshua Rea on 2 Dec 1874.
