They have a large genealogical collection of books in the Mississippi
Room. They have many irreplaceable books
and materials in their collection. To use this collection, you must be
18 years old as no young children are permitted. Researchers may take
pencils, blank paper, or personal computers into the area. All other
possessions must be locked in a locker.
They have a small staff and can only do limited research for people.
You must be specific when submitting research requests - specific names and
dates.
Fees:
Photocopy - 20 cents per page
Microfilm Photocopy - 25 cents per page
Postage to have items mailed back (I suggest a SASE with lots of postage!)
Faxes - $2 for the first page, 50 cents each additional page
