F. G. Barry

Barry, F. G., of West Point, was born at Woodbury, Tenn., January 15, 1845. While a school boy he enlisted with the Confederate army. After the war he studied law and was admitted to the bar. He was elected to the State senate, and served from 1875 to 1879. He was a Democratic elector for the state in 1880, and in 1884 was elected to the Forty-ninth Congress, serving till 1889.
