Soul's Rest Cemetery, Chickasaw Co, MS
Take Hwy 8 west from Houston to Trebloc. About 1 mile past Trebloc, Ms take the Una Road, first road to the right. Continue on this road about 3/4 miles. The cemetery is on the left side of the road on top of a hill in a pasture. This cemetery was cataloged by James Clark about 1980-1981.At the time Mr. Clark cataloged this cemetery, he included the following note on the condition of the cemetery: "This cemetery is in very bad shape. Someone has fenced it in in the past few years to keep cows and other stock out. (It is located in a pasture that has been in use for some time.) A lot of the markers were broken and/or have been on the ground for so long that they cannot be read. I recorded all I could. The grass and weeds are head tall and this area is thickly wooded."

SOULES REST UPDATED SURVEY
This is an updated list for Soules Chapel Church Cemetery. Smith Henley of Macon, MS did the update, no date is given for the update. Much excavation was done by local citizens and descendants of persons buried in the cemetery. This work resulted in about 60 graves not previously listed. This is the same cemetery as Souls Rest Cemetery. There are discrepancies between the two lists. The first person that went in the cemetery said it was grown up as high as your head. Anyone with family buried in this cemetery might want to compare the following information with the information listed above in the original cemetery survey.
