Incorporation of the Bank of Pace
1. The corporate title of said Company is Bank of
Pace
2. The names of the incorporators are:
G. G. Tucker, Post Office Pace, Miss.; J. H. Pace, Post Office, Pace, Miss.; E.
L. Mosby, Post Office Holly Springs, Miss.; M. D. Tucker, Post Office Beulah,
Miss.; E. H. Brown, Post Office Houston, Miss.; Mrs. H. J. Brown, Post Office
Houston, Miss.
3. The domicile is at Pace, Miss.
4. Amount of capital stock $10,000.00.
5. The par value of shares is $100.00.
6. The period of existence is fifty
years.
7. The purpose for which it is created
is: To engage in the banking business,
to receive deposits, to deal in exchange and to do all things incident to the
business of banking, not inconsistent with the laws of Mississippi and the laws
of Mississippi and the United States.
8. The rights and powers that may be
exercised by this corporation are those conferred by the provisions of Chapter
24, Mississippi Code, 1906. E. H. Brown,
