AUTO VICTIM DIES
An automobile accident Sept. 17th at Michie, TN has claimed the life of a second victim.
Tom D. Spence, 75, Hwy. 72 East, Corinth, died yesterday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis where he had been a patient since the accident.
Mr. Spence's wife, Mrs. Irma Maude Spence, was killed instantly in the accident when their 1972 Chevelle skidded off rain-slicked Hwy. 22 at Michie and hit a tree.
Mr. and Mrs. Spence operated the Skylark Drive-In on Hwy. 72 East for a number of years.  Mr. Spence was an outstanding horseman in the area.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Coleman Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Gilbert Howell and Mr. Bill Ross officaiting. Burial will be in Henry Cemetery with Coleman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by a son, Grier Spence and a daughter, Mrs. Thomas D. Beatty, both of Corinth and 4 grandchildren.
