MRS. STUART
Services for Mrs. Emma Shields Stuart, 72, of Route 2, Corinth, were held Saturday afternoon at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Lell. J. Edwards, the Rev. Coe Dalton and the Rev. Hugh Rakestraw officiating. Burial was in the Wheeler Grove Cemetery.
She was a member of the West Corinth Pentecostal Church. She died at her home Friday morning after an extended illness.
Survivors are her husband, Jim J. Stuart; two sons, James Rubin Stuart and Oscar Carol Stuart, both of Corinth; 5 daughters, Mrs. Elsie Gant of Wynnburg, Tennessee; Mrs. Artie Mills of Kossuth, Mrs. Marie Gant of Troy, Tennessee, Mrs. Audrey Mincy of Denham Springs, Louisiana and Mrs. Dale Barnes, Corinth; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Castleberry of Blue Mountain, Mississippi and Mrs. Julia Honeycutt, Louisiana; and 32 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Coleman Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
