DR. R.B. WARRINER, 91, RETIRED DENTIST, DIES
CORINTH, Miss., Sept. 26th-Services for Dr. Richard Bascomb Warriner, retired dentist and 1964 winner of Corinth's Citizen of the Year Award, will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at First Methodist Church with burial in Henry Cemetery.
Dr. Warriner, who was 91, died Sat. afternoon in Magnolia Hospital after a brief illness.
He had been active in Boy Scout work since 1916 and for 30 years was a scoutmaster in Corinth. He was a past president and charter member of the Corinth Kiwanis Club and also served on the board of directors for the YMCA.
Dr. Warriner leaves a son, Dr. Richard Bascomb Warriner, Jr. of Corinth; a daughter, Mrs. H. Durwood Thompson of Kingsville, Texas; a sister, Mrs. A.K. Weaver of Corinth; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
