Funeral services for Paul DeWayne Smith, 21, were held at 1 p.m. today at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Bro. Junior Davis officiating and Phylis Ragan directing music.  Interment will be in Ramer Cemetery in Ramer, Tennessee.
DeWayne died Saturday, Feb. 3, 1996, at North Mississippi Medical Center as the result of an accident.  He was a graduate of Alcorn Central High School and an employee of Marvin's.
He is survived by his parents, Rufus and Regina Smith of Corinth; a fiancee, Jessica Davis of Ripley; a brother, Thomas Paul Smith of Corinth; his grandparents, R.G. and Virginia Spencer, Margie Riley; aunts and uncles, Barbara and Johnny Cummings, Earnie and Bobby Studdard, Pat and Jackie Malone, Troy and Margaret Smith, Jimmy Dean Smith, Thomas Eugene Smith, Timmy and Renea Spencer, Olida Smith, Tommy and Esther Riley and Steve and Debbie Riley.
DeWayne was preceded in death by grandfathers, Paul Smith and Tom Riley; grea grandmothers Janie Smith, Viola Teague and Lillie Whirley; a great grandfather, Clarence Smith, an uncle, Aaron Lee Smith, and an aunt, Donna Wardlow.
Pallbearers will be T.J. Riley, Trey Riley, Tubby Malone, Gavin Smith, Stevie Studdard and David Dunn.
