Arbor Cemetery

Corinth, take US Highway 72 east to just past Liddon Lake. Turn right onto County Road 400, go approximately 12 miles to County Road 335, turn sharp left and go approximately 1.3 miles (passing the Williams Cemetery on the left). At County Road 336, turn back sharply to the right and proceed to County Road 376, the next gravel road to the left. Turn left on County Road 376 and go to the end of the road, intersecting with County Road 343. Turn left on CR 343 and go approximately 1/5 mile to the second red iron gate on the left. Cadle Creek is a short distance farther down CR 343. At the time of this visit (survey of the Alcorn Co. Genealogical Society), the property was posted and the width and depth of the ditch prevented automobile entry. According to the informant who escorted us to the location, the graves are marked only by some sandstones, therefore, an onsite survey was not conducted. It is reported that some Civil War soldiers are buried in this cemetery. No other details were known.
