Looking for the burial place for George W. CARTER b. abt. 22 May 1884 d. Natchez, Adams Co., MS and his wife, Irene (Montgomery) CARTER b. 15 Jun 1894 d. Feb 1974? in Natchez, Adams Co.,  MS.
Also, George's brother's wife, Clara Blanche (ATKINS) CARTER b. 22 Apr 1902 in Senatobia, Tate Co., MS d. May 1985? in Natchez, Adams Co., MS was living near them and is probably buried near them.  Any and all help deeply appreciated.  I can not longer travel and on a rather small budget.

Looking for info. on Thomas Lee WELSH b. 02-20-1874 d. 09-25-1942.  Married to Cordelia Pearl MADDEN b. 02-07-1880 both are buried in Natchez, Ms.  Children are: Betty Elise b. 02-25-1911, John Lane b. 02-03-1912, Paul b. 03-15-1914, Philip b. 02-09-1917, Curtis b. 02-26-1919, Cooksie b. 12-07-1922.  They owned Rifle Point Plantation in Ferriday, LA,. My grandfather (John L. WELSH) also owned a restaurant in downtown Ferriday, around 1920's to 1930's.  Thomas bought Rifle Point in 1926 the plantation was only 927 acres then they leased another 1000 to farm cotton.  Thanks in advance.

Looking for any information on James Foster who was born August 2, 1752, and died November 15, 1835.  He was born in South Carolina and fought at Fort Moultrie, SC during the American Revolution.  He later moved to the Natchez area and owned land near St. Catherine's Creek.  He may be linked to the "Foster mound" in the Natchez area.

Secretary for the MS Territory from 1798-1802.  Served in the Revolutionary War  from VA.  Never married, served as Superintendent of the Bank of MS.  Attended Indian Treaty in TN in 1802.  Owned land in Richmond, VA & in KY as late as 1802.  Need help with lineage and exact nature of
Revolutionary Service.

Walker fought in the War of 1812 in Capt. Jonathan Owsley's Co. of Inf., 15 Reg't Kentucky Militia from November 1814 through May 1815. Any information would be appreciated.

I am looking for any information on a child of Joseph Randall POULTER and his wife Lillie. This child was (I believe) named Joseph W. POULTER,but was adopted by another family by the name of ROBERTS. He was born about 1907/1908 in Natchez,MS and adopted shortly after as his mother died in December of 1908. I would like to try to make contact with any descendants of this man who had at least one child named J.W. ROBERTS, Jr. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for the date of death of Mrs. Irene Stuart LIMERICK. At the Old Courthouse Museum in Vicksburg I found a clipping of her obituary which said she died in Natchez, where she had lived for several years. The clipping had a dateline of April 25 but no year or name of the newspaper. In the 1910 census she was living with a daughter in Fayette.  My mother said her grandmother visited them after her youngest brother was born in Sept., 1918.  I assume that Irene had moved to Natchez to live with her son John A. Limerick, who was married to Jane Conner.Can anyone help me? Thanks.

I believe Hugh A. MOORE (born in Ireland) with his wife, Mary (called Polly) and small ch. were in Adams Co. Ms. 1820-1830 but I have never located them.  I heard he went to New Orleans to sell his cotton and was coming home on a riverboat and was robbed, killed and thrown overboard by 1831.  His family went back to Roan Co., Tn. where they had lived previously.  Any help or
advice would be appreciated.

John Meaux LITTLEPAGE b 30 aug 1788 in Hanover Co., VA, raised in Mercer Co., KY, went to Natchez, Adams Co., MS & on May 30, 181 married Elizabeth HOLMES.  John was the son of Richard LITTLEPAGE and Ann MEAUX.  Richard was the son of Col. James LITTLEPAGE and Sarah WINSTON & Ann was dau of John MEAUX and Frances GOODWIN.  John & Elizabeth had 2 daughters: Emeline and Olivia Ann.  My gg grandfather married them both.  Would like to hear from any LITTLEPAGEs or HOLMES.  Would like to learn more of Elizabeth's father - Benjamin.

MRTIN born ca 1822 in Ms. He married Nancy E.? born 07Dec1849 in Ms.  I have obtained some marriage records from the net that shows an Enoch MARTIN, but he would have to have been my Enoch's father.  Also David King MARTIN married Rebecca SWAYZE in Adams Co. in b 1820.  I am trying to find Nancy's maiden name and any info to this line of Martins.  Enoch is my ggrandfather.  He and Nancy migrated to Texas somewhere around
1848-49.They show up on the Liberty Co.Census report in 1850. Would greatly appreciate any help.  Thank You

I'm looking for information about a George and James FITZGERALD found in Adams Co, MS late 1700's, early 1800's.  James might be the father of my Ellis FITZGERALD, born abt. 1804 in GA, found very early in MS Territory and then in Mobile, AL.  There were also some ELLIS people in Adams Co, MS at the same time; Ellis FITZGERALD's mother might have been an ELLIS.
George FITZGERALD writes his will 28 July 1787 in Adams Co, MS.  Legatees: David Ross (friend), father, William FITZGERALD of Aberdeen, North Britain (Scotland?), brother, James FITZGERALD, sisters, Barbara and Bella FITZGERALD.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has CASON ancestors in and around Adams Co. I am trying to place my ancestor , Eliza CASON with one of the CASON families of the area , and have thus far been unsuccessful.  She was born in SC on 14 March , 1804. She was married to John  HODGES , Jr.. on 20 April 1820, in Wilkinson Co., MS.  By 1830 , they were in St. Helena Parish , LA. I know that there were several CASON families in Adams Co. during this time frame. Can anyone help me with information on these families? Thank you.

To date I learned Henry Sr has a son Henry and a daughter Mary.  He moved to MS in 1835 where he practiced law, married and settled in Adams Co in planting until his death in 1844.  Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.

Searching for information on George POOLE and Mary Ann BRUFF (b.1824 in TN). They were married in Adams County in 1839. George died between 1843 and 1846. They had a daughter named Francis born abt. 1843.  Mary Ann married again in March 1846 to David N. Davidson in
Wilknson County.  Descendents of the Davidson family returned to Adams county in the
early 1900's and settled in Kingston.
