My g-grandfather, James
Absolom Walsh was born at Cedar Grove Plantation, situated northwest of
Kingston road about 12 mi. southwest of Natchez. This was the home of Absolom
and Clara Thomas Sharp. Absolom Sharp was the business partner of James
Walsh, Sr. in Natchez MS in the 1840's & 50's. James & Jane (Crothers)
Walsh lived on Union St. in Natchez. Also James, mother-in-law, Elizabeth
