Investors, Planters,
& Plantation Owners Ca. 1858
Properties Located in
Adams Co, MS, and Concordia
Parish, LA
|
Adams County, MSGenWeb wishes
to express it's sincere appreciation to Madge Harris for her tremendous
assistance in compiling this information, and to William Metcalfe for contributing
additional names.
Although most plantation
owner/investors lived in Adams County, it is probable that some lived across
the river in Concordia Parish, LA. Some owners lived on the plantation,
but maintained a town home in Natchez. No attempt has been made to
identify those people.
